Performance & Capability
Under the hood of the Renegade is a 1.3-liter turbocharged I4 engine that produces 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive. A properly equipped Renegade can tow up to 2,000 pounds.
Technology
The infotainment system is anchored by an 8.4-inch touchscreen display. Six speakers come standard, but you can upgrade to a nine-speaker audio system that includes a subwoofer. A driver information display comes standard as well. Standard safety technology includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and trailer sway damping.
Interior & Exterior
The Renegade has five seats and ample room for everyone to get comfortable. When you need to transport your belongings, you can find 18.5 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the rear seats. Folding down the rear seats yields a maximum available cargo capacity of 50.8 cubic feet. Available interior features include heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
The exterior of the Renegade cuts an impressive figure on and off the road. The angular, muscular frame creates an unmistakable silhouette. The front fascia includes iconic Jeep® Brand touches, like circular headlights and a seven-slot grille. Available roof rails add extra storage space to the top of the vehicle, while providing a sportier appearance.
