If you thought the Wrangler had everything you could have hoped for, you might want to think again. The upcoming Wrangler Rubicon 392 and Wrangler 4xe offer everything we love about the Jeep Wrangler while providing a fresh and powerful new way to enjoy them. Take a look at what you have to look forward to when we can get these in our inventory at Healey Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392
That number represents the number of cubic inches of displacement in this engine, which equates to 6.4-liters. This trim brings the Wrangler into the V8 family with an engine that produces 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. With that sort of power at your fingertips, you can go from 0-60 mph near Poughkeepsie in just 4.5 seconds.
Everything in the Rubicon 392 is built around that performance focus. It has a hood scoop to suck in cool air and feed the engine. The Dual-Mode Exhaust System allows you to toggle between quiet and performance exhaust modes with electronically controlled valves. To get the 10.7-inch ground clearance, not only does it have a two-inch lift over the standard Wrangler, but it also has 33-inch mud-terrain tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels.
What's performance without style, though? The Wrangler Rubicon 392 has a premium cabin. Most notable is the black leather-trimmed seats with custom bronze stitching. You'll also have the 8.4-inch touchscreen display with Uconnect® 4C NAV standard. The Alpine® Premium Audio System has nine speakers, including a rear subwoofer, and a 552-watt amplifier. All of this comes together to make the Rubicon 392 the premier Wrangler for Goshen drivers.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe
If you love cruising the outdoors in your Jeep SUV, but you want to help preserve that environment, or maybe you just want to stop going to the Wappingers Falls gas station so much, then the Wrangler 4xe is right up your alley. This is a Wrangler through and through, but with all of the advantages that come from a plug-in hybrid powertrain like a federal tax credit and fewer trips to the gas station.
The 4xe is designed to be every bit the adventurer as the standard Wrangler. Its hybrid powertrain can give you 375 horsepower 470 pound-feet of instant torque on the roads of Fishkill. The hybrid engine drives an EPA-estimated 49 MPGe, and you can drive up to 21 miles on electric power alone before the gas engine kicks in to regenerate it. You can even ford creeks and streams up to 30 inches in depth thanks to the sealed and waterproof electronics.
You have three trims to choose from for the Wrangler 4xe: the Sahara, the Rubicon and the High Altitude. Each comes with the best LED lighting available to Wranglers, and each has their own unique styling cues. Leather-trimmed seats are standard or available, with bucket seats on the higher two trims.
The Sahara acts as the base trim, offering many of the best features from the regular Wrangler. The Rubicon differentiates itself from the others by being off-road focused. The Sahara's side steps are removed to give the Rubicon more clearance, and the Rubicon gains a dual-vent hood. The High Altitude returns to the all-around performance of the Sahara and includes the Safety Group package standard. This gives it Blind-Spot and Cross-Path Detection and the ParkSense® Rear Park-Assist System.
